The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
This senior mechatronic / servo system engineering manager position will provide the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of precision mechanism technologies on various mechatronics subsystems used in high-end semiconductor inspection machines. A key responsibility will be driving development of next-generation auto focus systems, which will provide the opportunity to work with engineers in multiple disciplines, including optics, software, precision mechanical design and electronics.
The person filling this role will lead a team of servo / control engineers in developing multiple portions of a next-generation electron beam inspection system for masks.

Preferred Qualification:
  • Experience with semiconductor capital equipment development is beneficial
  • Strong servomechanism design / analysis / synthesis experience is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with precision mechanical design and design and analysis for control/structure interaction is preferred
  • Familiarity with optics and auto focus systems is a plus
  • Management or senior leadership role in mechatronics or servo group is strongly preferred
  • Strong aptitude / experience with precision mechatronic subsystem development
  • Strong communication skills
  • Leadership or management experience
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 10 years of experience
OR
Master's Level Degree with at least 8 years of experience
OR
Doctorate (Academic) with at least 6 years of experience
