Business Unit:
The Customer Group (CG) team is our field based, customer facing organization consisting of Sales, Marketing, Applications, Finance, Human Resources, Facilities & IT.  They partner closely with our customers to provide a comprehensive portfolio of products, services, software and expertise, to help them manage yield throughout their fabrication process—from research and development to final volume production.  Responsibilities of this group include maintaining strategic client relationships, identifying and closing sales opportunities, ensuring our products meet performance capabilities & expectations, providing critical solutions for improved yield performance, and collecting requirements for future products by understanding customer processes and technology trends.  Partnering with our service organization and factory divisions, this diverse and dynamic team helps ensure alignment between customer needs and corporate offering to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. 
 
Responsibilities: 
The Lithography Technical Manager reports to the head of Customer Engagement for the Patterning Solutions group and is responsible for understanding the key customers roadmaps and Lithography challenges.  This individual will manage and lead a team of Application Development Engineers and serve KLA-Tencor customers in the US.

1) Lead technical discussions at a level of wafer fab process (e.g. not just metrology) with Section Managers or Department Managers at the customer
2) Apply knowledge of KLA-Tencor product roadmaps to have a meaningful conversations with the goal of mapping customer challenges to our solutions
3) Arrange and drive all Technical Review Meetings with the customer (usually once a quarter)
4) Drive the team to execute on the strategic plans laid out for the year

Preferred Qualifications:
1) Advanced degree with 6+ years of experience in developing sophisticated lithography solutions for advanced fab operations (14nm/10nm/7nm)
2) 2 years of experience managing and leading a team of lithography engineers
3) Requires in depth knowledge of advanced fab operations
4) Excellent communicator and technical collaborator with proven experience working closely with partners on identifying and driving technology solutions
5) Operate with a bias toward effective solution delivery

Minimum Qualifications:
Doctorate (Academic) with at least 5 years of experience.
OR
Master's Level Degree with at least 6 years of experience.
OR
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 7 years of experience.
