KLA-Tencor has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA). The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology. We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market. The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

Responsibilities:
Understands business requirements for operations and conducts analysis of complex business problems within Global Operations. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing automated systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. Proposes and supports system enhancements for operations, and drives projects to implementation.

Supports detailed analysis of revenue (quarterly and yearly revenue, revenue risk & upside, revenue backlog & trends) and cost (gross production inventory, inventory turns, inventory liability, excess and obsolescence, reserves) for US and Global Operations. Develops and implements sophisticated reports and dashboard with multiple and different analytics view; dill-down options; dynamic pivot tables and charts, to facilitate fast and effective business decision making

Gathers data and business requirements to create Use Case and to prepare Business Requirements Document (BRD) and reports. 

Serves as liaison between Global Ops and IT and software development teams by participating in BRD, user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation, and collection & documentation of system and/or software incidents (Non conformance reports).

Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives. Diagrams and evaluates existing processes. Organizes, leads, and facilitates cross-functional project teams. Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. Performs cost and benefit analyses.

Preferred Qualification:
  • Experience and/or working knowledge of MRP and experience with SAP
  • Operating system: Windows. MS Office, VBA & Macro programming
  • Strong system and analytical skills, business intelligence, and full understanding of operational needs
  • Candidate should be process oriented and results driven. Should enjoy a challenging and fast paced environment. Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results
  • Bachelor Degree or Master Degree and 5 years of related experience
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience.
OR
Master's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience.
