Business Unit:
The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Responsibilities:
Conducts technical training courses for employees and/or customers in the use and repair of complex semiconductor capital equipment for multiple products. Interacts with customer and functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses. Prepares lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation. Works with engineering, technical support and manufacturing to ensure that course material reflects current product features. Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions.  Follows up to determine applicability of course material.

Preferred Qualification:
Preferred 8-10 years of extensive troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, servicing and / or technical training on KLA-Tencor EBEAM inspection or review products. Proven experience in onsite customer service and technical support will be highly desirable. Applicant should be able to show experience in handling high pressure situations on critical issues and handling issues in unstructured or unpredictable environment.

Demonstrated experience in vacuum or ebeam systems required. 4 Years technical training or new product introduction experience on capital equipment. Thorough knowledge of latest training design and development techniques and best practices will be a plus.

KNOWLEDGE: Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.     

SUPERVISION: Determines methods and procedures on new assignments, and may provide guidance to other personnel.

EXPERIENCE: Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience in servicing and / or providing technical training on capital equipment. At least 2 years of experience working on vacuum systems.
Applicant must have minimum  Bachelor degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or similar disciplines) from a reputed institute or at least 8 years experience as a technical trainer or new product introduction engineer on ebeam systems.

JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Internal and external contacts often pertain to company plans and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or similar disciplines) with at least 8 of related experience.
