The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Reviews and analyzes purchase requisitions, executes buyer workbench queue. Coordinates purchasing activities with commodity management, supply chain, planning, logistics and engineering departments to acquire parts in a cost effective and timely manner. Works with suppliers to ensure expeditious commitment to delivery dates. Processes purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers. Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity. Participates in maximizing the procurement teams' efficiency, maximizing execution of Open Orders, expediting P1/P2/P3 orders, maintaining part parameters. Performs cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities (e.g. materials, components, equipment and services). Develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive. May recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing. Interacts closely with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues.

Preferred Qualification:
SAP Experience
APICS Certification or ongoing education
Parts repair operations coordination experience
Requires a minimum of 5 years of procurement, materials management or supply chain experience

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with at least 3years of experience.
