Responsibilities:
KLA is looking for passionate software developers to join us and help define and deliver high quality solutions to expand our features to create the cloud infrastructure for the image processing and data storage requirements for the next generation Semiconductor Wafer inspection machines. You will be responsible for integrating multiple hardware and software sub-systems to solve some of the most advanced technical challenges facing the semiconductor chip industry.
 
This role will be a perfect fit if you have a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science and practical experience building distributed systems. You should enjoy working on complex system software, be very customer-centric, understand the big picture and feel strongly not only about building good software but about making software achieve its goals in reality.

Preferred Qualifications:
1) Experienced with Object-Oriented software analysis and design using UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling, Java and C/C++ programming.
2) Requires good knowledge of multi-threaded/parallel processing applications.
3) Experience in developing and debugging high-level machine control software applications. Good software documentation skills are required.
4) Familiar with cloud and storage related technologies.
5) Semiconductor equipment experience preferred.
6) System control and image/data processing experience a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 8 years of experience.
OR
Master's Level Degree with at least 5 years of experience.
OR
Doctorate (Academic) with at least 4 years of experience.
