Position: Senior Director Engineering

Job Description:
Lead and manage the Service Supply Chain engineering organization to improve parts reliability and quality, to eliminate obsolescence, and to ensure parts are designed, tested, and documented correctly in support of a large installed base of KLA-Tencor tools.
Drive strategic programs to sustain spares availability via engineering solutions including design and first article generation for use in support.
Achieve results utilizing an international team of in house and external engineers, establish program priorities, measure results and set direction for future programs.
Continuously improve the quality and reliability of service spares to reduce cost, improve customer satisfaction and sustain the associated revenue stream.
Experienced engineering manager with demonstrated results in semiconductor capital equipment or very similar industry required. Manufacturing, R&D and/or service engineering experience required either as a leader or individual contributor required.
Qualifications/Education Desired:
Supply chain and /or technical vendor management experience desired.
Semiconductor capital equipment engineering manager or individual contributor experience desired.
Service experience on cutting edge, capital equipment products desired.
QMS certification/experience in an engineering environment desired.
Basic Qualifications:
Master's Level Degree in engineering with at least 8 years of experience.
OR
Doctorate (Academic) in engineering with at least 7 years of experience.
